This morning I had a fantastic meeting with the lady I’ve been interning with. It was really great to talk about my frustrations and get an outsiders perspectives. I feel like in some ways, she has become a mentor to me which is great.
Things on the internship front have been a little slow lately especially with her traveling for the past 6 weeks and me trying to deal with the craziness of work. This morning, after talking to her, I felt so much better and it completely reenergized my outlook. I’m pretty excited for things coming up for her site and immensely jealous that she will be traveling across Canada, down to Las Vegas and LA for conferences, before settling down in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It seems like everyone is headed to South America this year.
Hopefully my new found energy can carry me through the week… =)
