Of Dreams...

Lately, I’ve been dreaming and thinking about everything I’m doing now and what I could be doing instead. There are so many amazing opportunities out there. Opportunitiy costs. Sigh. I keep coming up with all these fantastic ideas of things I want to do or hope to do - so much so that there is really no time to do all those things.

Working takes up so much of my time and so much of it isn’t very intellectually stimulating which leads me to dream and think up all these crazy ideas. For some reason, I’ve been feeling really inspired lately to start my own business. I’m not sure what I could do and there isn’t really anything I’m super passionate about yet – except maybe food! I never saw myself as ever opening my own business or ever really taking that big a risk, but for some reason it seems really attractive right now.

I really want to go take some more specific classes on marketing and design. I’ve looked at the BCIT offerings and it seems they have a couple online classes available in the fall. I still need to talk to one of their advisors, but come fall, I think I’ll try to take one or two classes. Maybe I'll be biting off more than I can chew, but I'm sure I can make it happen. Yay for making dreams come true.
