I just put my piano up for sale on craigslist. I’ve been trying to delay this moment for days but with less than 2 weeks before I leave permanently it has to be done. I might be leaving it almost too last minute. I have a bunch of other things I want to sell too, but I think those are easier to get rid of (bookcases, shelves, and chairs).
Probably going to start packing tonight too. I can’t believe this is happening. So not looking forward to this. I have so much crap to move =\ Need to downsize the amount of belongings I have.
On another note, I was a tourist in my own city this past weekend. I went around the Victoria area with our Hungarian intern. One place I hadn’t even been to before – Fort Rodd and Fisgard Lighthouse. At least I’m doing all these things before I leave. We also went to Hatley Castle in Royal Roads University where they filmed X-Men. They used the outside as the school for the mutants.

The weather wasn’t all that great – it kept on drizzling the whole day. I can see this being really gorgeous in the sun. The castle looks out onto the water too.
I use to be able to see this from work in the summer but I didn’t know you could get close to it. It was massive – too bad you couldn’t go inside.
