In Search of Happiness

I woke up this morning in the weirdest mood. I wasn’t happy, I wasn’t sad, I was sort of grumpy, disgruntled and frustrated. Not too sure where it came from, but probably had something to do with my mood when I went to sleep last night. So I went in search of happiness…

I blasted music and started dancing and jumping around like crazy. I got dressed up and got dressed down. By the end of it I definitely felt way better about the day. Yay for dancing crazily around the apartment! I was so exhausted – it was like a full workout!

So I went and cuddled with Tippy. Nothing like a cute kitty purring next to you to cheer you up =)

I went out to the dollar store to pick up some twine and wooden clothes pins. I wanted small craft ones, but they ran out. I proceeded to decorate my room. The sun was shining and it was so warm! I can’t believe its still January.

Later, at night I helped a friend buy his first violin. Hurrah for music! Its a really nice beginner violin and I started thinking about all these memories of learning how to play. I’m going to be teaching him the basics. Should be interesting – I haven’t touched a violin in years!

It was a good day. I’m glad I went out and tried to make the best of the day (did you see the sun?!) instead of moping around at home. Oh Victoria, how I love thee in the sun <3
